Havana June 4 th

On June 2nd I depart for another one week adventure in Havana. Thanks to generous donations, both monetary and in kind, I will be arriving with the usual near 100lbs of supplies for animal welfare projects.
One of the highlights of the visit will be the mass deparitization of dogs in Habana Vieja. Although the event organizers have every eventually well covered this event has put a stress on some supply levels.

If you could help by purchasing and delivering to Havana some supplies I have a unique experience for you.
Have you heard of the Polar Bar in Miramar?
How about the Canadian Embassy?
On June 4th the Canadian Embassy is hosting a BBQ / Musical event they affectionately call the Polar Bar. Rumour has it they have the "best hamburgers in Cuba". On this evening a Cuban rock band will be performing between 8 - 10 pm.
Sometime between 8:30 and 9:00 Tony Toffoli, the head of a newly formed international group called PATA - PAWS Cuba will give a presentation about their planned efforts to assist Cubans that are helping their animals.

So come by any time after 6:00pm with some supplies or a donation and you will be
warmly greeted.
"help the cats and dogs of Cuba, and Cuban organizations working with them, by supporting PATAS-PAWS Cuba. Donate and learn more at the Polar Bar!"
